We are looking for a qualified and experienced **Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry** to join our residential school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to senior secondary students, strengthening conceptual understanding, preparing students for board examinations, and contributing to overall academic development.
### Key Responsibilities
* Teach Chemistry to Classes XI & XII as per the prescribed curriculum.
* Develop strong conceptual understanding through effective teaching methodologies.
* Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, tests and revision plans.
* Prepare students systematically for Board examinations.
* Conduct and supervise Chemistry practicals and laboratory activities.
* Ensure proper laboratory safety and discipline during practical sessions.
* Identify academically weak students and provide remedial support.
* Monitor student performance through regular assessments and maintain academic records.
* Use practical examples, experiments, demonstrations and appropriate teaching-learning resources.
* Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, academic planning and school activities.
* Support students in developing problem-solving, analytical and scientific thinking skills.
* Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
* Contribute to the overall development, discipline and well-being of students in the residential school environment.
### Eligibility
* Master's Degree in Chemistry / relevant subject from a recognized university.
* B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
* Minimum **2–3 years of teaching experience** at senior secondary level preferred.
* Strong knowledge of XI–XII Chemistry and practical work.
* Good communication and classroom management skills.
* Candidates with strong Board examination results will be preferred.
