Educational Qualification

Professor

Candidates should have:

• Minimum Second Class Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA.
• Minimum Second Class Master’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA.
• Ph.D. in the concerned subject.

Associate Director of Research

Candidates should have:

• Minimum Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with at least 55% marks or equivalent OGPA.
• Minimum Second Class Master’s degree in Agriculture in any subject of Agricultural Science with at least 55% marks.
• Ph.D. in any subject of Agricultural Science.

Required Experience

Professor

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/extension education experience, excluding the period of Ph.D. study.
• Experience should not be below the level of Assistant Professor/Equivalent.
• At least 2 years should be at Associate Professor/Equivalent level in the 7th CPC Pay Level 13A.

Associate Director of Research

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/extension education experience, excluding the period of Ph.D. study.
• Experience should not be below the level of Assistant Professor/Equivalent.
• At least 2 years should be at Associate Professor/Equivalent level in the 7th CPC Pay Level 13A.

Age Limit

• Professor: Maximum 60 years
• Associate Director of Research: Maximum 60 years
